Open event at Raven Rock State Park October 21
We will have an OPEN event at Raven Rock State Park on Sunday October 21, 2018. Everyone is welcome.
The event starts at noon. We will have a beginners class at 12:30. Last starts at 2 PM. Everybody must finish by 3 PM.
We will have all regular courses from beginner to expert, White through Red.
White 2.6km 9 controls
Yellow 3.0km 11 controls
Orange 3.9km 11 controls
Brown 3.4km 9 controls
Green 5.5km 16 controls
Red 7.5km 17 controls
Note that white course is longer than usual and that the yellow course involves quite a bit of off-trail navigating along linear features such as streams and reentrants in addition to on-trail navigation.
If you are bringing a group of 5 or more people please preregister for this event NO LATER THAN 5pm Friday September 28.
We have a fillable PDF entry form which you can save on your computer and print to bring with you to the event. You can always find links to these in “BOK Information” links on the right of most BOK pages.

As always, help with control pick-up would be greatly appreciated.
Membership runs from September through August, so if you didn’t renew or join at the last meet, please do so at this one. Members also need to sign the annual waiver.
Directions
The park is at 3009 Raven Rock Road, Lillington, NC 27546. We will be starting from the picnic shelter near the first parking lot on the right after you enter the park.
