Pre-registration required at all events!
As our region becomes more populous the parks are tightening their rules. Several of our venues will not allow us to collect money and some are limiting the number of participants. So to deal with these developments we are now using a storefront where we can collect registration information as well as collect money for any event fees if necessary.
Even if you are a member, you must still register using the store before the event.
This will speed up the line to get started at events because the event director won’t need to collect money and will have all your information and signed waiver. Also when you pre-register before the registration deadline you will be guaranteed a map.
Most events will have some extra maps so you can register late, or even at the event using your phone, but it is really better if you register on time so you won’t have to wait for someone to return and give you their map.
Another advantage to the store is we will no longer restrict our advanced and expert events to members only. The restriction to attend these events will now be only based on your skill level.
- To attend an advanced event you must have previously completed an Orange or above course at an orienteering club event
- To attend an expert event you must have previously completed an Brown or above course at an orienteering club event
Group registration should also be completed in our store. After you select the items for the first person (or group) you can add another entry. Simply change the name and check boxes, and then click “Add Another” and the store will add the new entry to the cart. You can pay for all the entries in one transaction.
