Umstead South: December 13th 2009
The start of this event will be at Reedy Creek Shelter #2. Enter the park from I-40 and follow our signs into the main parking lot. We will have 4 types of courses: White and Yellow as usual, classic courses, and two Score-O: 45 min and 90 min. The start opens at 12pm, beginners class at 12:30pm. Please, be back by 3pm.
Large groups (more than 10 people) need to pre-register to save us time and to secure enough maps for all participants.
Latest updates for Score-O:
- Reedy creek’s water is high, so do not try to wade it across, use bridges.
- Penalties are 5 points per min up to 10 min, and 10 points after. If you started on 45 min and came late, you will be automatically moved to the 90 min category, unless you specifically tell me not to.
