May 3. Schenck Forest. Score-O and more.

Filed under: Latest News by Vladimir Stemkovski on April 29th, 2009

This event is for advanced orienteers (BOK members who have completed a brown, green, or red course). Don’t forget, you must pre-register. The event will consist of a Score-O course with elements of Treasure Hunting 🙂

Due to an unusual format of the course the start window will be from 12:00 to 1:30, so we don’t get finishers before everybody starts. There will be 1 hour and 1 hour 30 minutes time limit options. Start window for 1 hour time limit option will be from 12:30 till 1:30.

Parking outside of the gate (as usual). No dogs are allowed (even on a leash).

  3. I’d like to participate. I’ve done a number of o-meet’s in virginia and new england, but I’m a marathoner at heart. I do o’s to get of the roads and enjoy the woods.

Can you give me better directions to the start? I couldn’t find anything very specific on the website.

    Cheers,
    Patrick

  4. Dan, Patrick,

This event is an advanced event which means that you must be a BOK member in order to participate (and have your own finger stick). If you are not BOK members, our next regular (and open for everybody) event is on May 17 in Umstead.
