Advanced event Horton Grove Nature Preserve
On Sunday February 5th, 2023, we are hosting an orienteering event at Horton Grove Nature Preserve. This beautiful preserve is located just 20 minutes north of Durham. We will offer four different courses ranging from advanced to expert level.
Orange (advanced): appx. 3.1 km
Brown: appx. 3.8 km
Green: appx. 5.6 km
Red: appx. 6.7 km
Pre-register no later than Friday February 3rd at 5:00pm so I can print enough maps. Registration is now closed. Start any time between 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. The course closes at 2:30 PM. Help with control pick-up would be greatly appreciated.
Park and start from the main parking lot. There are no bathrooms here, so please plan accordingly. There is no class offered, but there will be experienced runners who can offer guidance.
