Advanced event at Umstead West Oct 18, 2020

We will have an advanced event (orange and up) on Sunday Oct 18 at Umstead West. The ranger has asked us to keep parking on Old Reedy Creek Road to a minimum and keep private driveways and the area around them clear. We are approved for 12 people every two hours Please try to complete your course within two hours

We are fully subscribed and registration for this event is now closed.

A reminder that BOK Annual Event Passes run from September through August of the following year. Passes purchased for the 2019-2020 year have now expired. For details on family and individual passes see Get an Annual Pass for BOK events. An Annual Pass is $45 for individuals and $65 for families.

Some notes related to COVID-19. Pre-registration to a particular start window is required. Please bring a face mask and wear it when around others. Maintain social distance. There will be no beginner class and no white or yellow courses.

This event will be on the new map drafted by Vladimir Lyuk.Courses for this event will be

  • Orange 3.7km 11 controls
  • Brown 3.6km 9 controls
  • Green 5.7km 12 controls
  • Red 6.4km 14 controls

Courses will remain open till 4:30pm. Help with control pickup appreciated if we finish early enough, otherwise Paul and I will do it Monday.
