Sycamore Scramble Feb. 20 & 21

Filed under: Uncategorized by Joseph on January 28th, 2010

We are hosting a special national 2 day “A” meet, the Sycamore Scramble,  with 3 events, including sprint, middle distance and classic length courses.  This is open to everyone whatever your level of orienteering.  If you volunteer to work you can get the reduced junior rate.  National (“A”) meets are very exciting with some top orienteers competing as well as casual orienteers. There are close to 70 classes divided by age and sex and awards will be given to the top 3 competitors in every class.   This is a team fundraiser event so part of our proceeds will go to the World University Orienteering Competition (WUOC) team.  This event is also the US Intercollegiate Championships and members of the WUOC team will be selected from those competitors.  The deadline for not paying a late fee is February 5, 2010
