Open Orienteering Schenck Forest 2025-12-07
We will have an OPEN event at Schenck Forest on Sunday, December 7, 2025. The event starts at 11:30 AM and everybody must finish by 2:30 PM when we will begin control pickup. Check-in and map pickup will be at the shelter.
Registration closed at 5 PM on Friday, December 5.
We will have all courses from beginner to expert.
- White/Yellow Score-O (with 1 hour time limit)
- Orange 3.3km 11 controls
- Brown 4.1km 9 controls
- Green 5.7km 12 controls
- Red 7.7km 17 controls
We will also have a beginners Q&A session starting at 12:00 PM. If you are new to orienteering we recommend that you check out these short videos to prepare for the event.

Note that the park prohibits the presence of dogs, even on a leash.
