We have had a nice day outdoors catching radio waves. The weather cooperated giving us a nice sun shine in the middle of December. Thank you all for coming. The directors would extend very special thanks to the BOK for scheduling the event, reserving the place, and providing rental equipment, Charles for his tremendous help with transmitters, poles, flags – you name it – as well as help picking everything up. We would also like to thank the NC State University Department of Forestry and the management of the Schenk forest for keeping this nice green patch near the heart of the city (even though we are considering to petition them to change the locks to keycard access). Also, because of the overwhelming frustration of competitors with 2-meter transmitter #3 the BOK decided to change it to #8. Charles is currently working on the conversion.
