Hi All - Just wanted to update everyone to let them know I am doing fine and on the mend.

After the meet I drove the truck over to the Urgent care near home and got lucky to find a doc that normally works at Duke hospital but does 1 day a month at this Urgent care. She spent about 15 minutes cleaning the wound to make sure there was no remaining glass or debris and then shot it ups with lidocaine so she could do the stitching up. (That was not a fun 10 minutes!) So it took 30 cm of dissolvable sutures on 2 long continuous stitches to pull the "meat" back together and then 15 regular stitches on about 1/4" spacing to hold the outside skin together. Should leave a great scar just in time for Halloween!

Hopefully I will only be out of action for a couple weeks and will see everyone again soon.....Pat
